Annual and quadrennial reports, state publication, 1922-1938.

In 1923 the State Board of Administration was created to administer the Convict Dept., to take charge of all state property, and to act as the general business agent of state government. Quadrennial reports, 1922-1926 and 1926-1930, and annual reports, 1931-1938, that detail activities regarding the convict department, its mines, prisons, and prisoners. These reports also describe centralized purchases made for the state, as well as the negotiation of yearly contracts and other actions. Various statistical reports were created as well.
